My Spanish Mustang: Make vs. Ask

I love what “Riding in Lightness” clinician Susan Norman says, “In the French philosophy, we don’t ‘make’ the horse do, we ‘ask’ the horse to do.”

To me, ‘make’ feels mechanical while ‘ask’ feels like partnership.
